Do you travel to the client’s location?
Travel within Ucluelet & Tofino and is part of the package. Travel to anywhere else on Vancouver Island would be an additional cost of 0.7 cents per km.
How far in advance should I book your services?
We suggest you book a year in advance in order to get the date that you want, last minute bookings are also possible if the date is free.
What is the booking process for weddings?

I’ll get back to you within two business days. Please note that I may not be able to accommodate every application.
If your application is accepted, you will receive a contract to sign and return, along with the deposit.
Your date will only be secured once both the signed contract and deposit have been received.
What can I expect on the day of the appointment?
Makeup sessions typically take between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the service you’ve booked—whether it’s my signature Natural Glam look or a Bridal trial. You can find estimated times for each service on the Services page.
Please arrive with a freshly cleansed and gently exfoliated face, free of moisturizers or serums—I have products in my kit tailored for all skin types, which I’ll apply during your session. Feel free to bring a reference photo for inspiration (real faces only, no A.I. filters, please!).
We’ll collaborate to create your ideal look, and you’re welcome to make changes during the session—your feedback is always encouraged and appreciated! Before you head out, I’ll send you off with a personalized touch-up kit to help you feel fresh all day long.
Cancellation Policy
At Jenni Mackay Artistry, I understand that life happens and sometimes plans change. To respect both your time and mine, I have the following cancellation policy in place:
Appointments
Cancellations made with at least 48 hours' notice will not be charged a fee.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.
A non-refundable retainer (50% of total) is required to secure your date and will be applied to the final balance. Full payment is required 48 hours before date.
Weddings and Group Bookings
A non-refundable retainer (50% of total) is required to secure your date and will be applied to the final balance. Full payment is required 30 days before date.
Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance of the booking date will not incur additional charges beyond the retainer.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the booking will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the remaining balance.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event will be charged in full.
Rescheduling
I do my best to accommodate rescheduling requests. Please provide as much notice as possible to avoid fees.
One complimentary reschedule is permitted if notice is given 48 hours or more in advance.
